Weymouth being a south coast town has one of the sunniest climates in the UK. A maritime climate and winds usually are warm south westerly. In the last 30 years the hours of sunshine was often 38% above UK average. Due to the geography of the surrounding hills Weymouth has less rainfall than average making it an ideal location for a self catering holiday.
